History
The Virginia Wadsworth Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts, formerly the Theater and Interpretation Center (1980) includes a 450-seat thrust-stage theater, a 350-seat proscenium theater, two smaller 'black box' laboratory theaters, scene shops, and offices for the School of Communication's performance studies and theater departments.
