History
Dwight St. John Bobb Memorial Building (1955) was designed by Holabird, Root, and Burgee of buff brick with Lannon limestone trim, a mirror image of the adjacent McCulloch Hall. It served as a residence hall for 198 freshman men and four resident counselors until 1973, when the building became a coeducational residence. In 1980 the two buildings were connected, creating what is now known as Bobb-McCulloch Hall. The construction of the $1 million building was financed through loans from the University's endowment fund and a $400,000 gift from the will of Sonia A. Bobb in honor of her husband, Dwight St. John Bobb.
