South Mid-Quads Residence Hall

Opened in the fall of 1981 as coeducational residence halls, South and North Mid-Quads were built to house 88 students each in a mixture of single and double rooms. The construction of these two residence halls joined the east and west women's quadrangles by filling in a block of Orrington Avenue between Emerson Street and University Place.

Shepard Residential College is now housed in the South Mid Quads building.
